The “Problem Solver” retrofit, developed as a compact, economical replacement for grease-lubricated standard SN series housings when operating speeds or temperatures rise.
- Dedicated Oil Optimization: Engineered for hydrodynamic oil-bath lubrication, making it the ideal solution for spherical roller bearings running at elevated speeds and temperatures.
- Standard Interchangeability: Dimensionally interchangeable with traditional SN plummer blocks in shaft diameter, center height and base bolt-hole spacing. Upgrade from grease to oil lubrication without re-engineering the mounting foundation.
- Enlarged Oil Reservoir: A wider housing than standard SN models maximizes internal oil volume for optimal thermal dissipation, excellent cooling efficiency and longer lubricant life.
- Smart Oil-Level Management: Minimum and maximum oil-level markings on an integrated oil-level gauge let operators safely verify oil levels during continuous operation.
- Foolproof Assembly: Alignment pins at the horizontal split interface prevent incorrect matching or orientation of the upper cap and lower base during installation.
- Target Applications: Mid-sized high-speed machinery requiring premium cooling, such as industrial ventilation fans, blowers, high-velocity flywheels and paper processing machinery.
